Dr. Curtis Dunn
Dr. Dunn began his education at the University of Minnesota majoring in engineering. After a chance encounter with a dentist while working over the summer of his sophomore year, Dr. Dunn decided to pursue dentistry and switched his major that fall. Although his grandfather was a dentist in Japan he hadn’t thought about dentistry as a career before. After completing his four years of undergraduate education, Dr. Dunn was accepted into the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Dunn graduated near the top of his class in 1989 and as a result decided to pursue the very selective specialty of orthodontics. He was accepted into the University of Minnesota orthodontic program and completed his residency in 1991.
For the past 25 years Dr. Dunn has been continuously honing his skills and studying the latest research in order to provide his patients with the very best care possible. This includes going through the very rigorous testing to become a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. His greatest joy in practicing orthodontics is knowing the positive impact that a confident healthy smile has on his patients lives. He feels honored to be able to serve others in this way.
Dr. Dunn lives in Woodbury with his wife Lisa and has four children, all at various stages of leaving the nest. In his spare time he enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities but is most passionate about CrossFit.
